Start from ScreenPal’s screenshot tool page and click the Launch button. Or log in to your free hosting account, and click on the ‘image’ icon in the upper right to capture screenshots. With the snipping tool, you can capture a window, full screen, or a specific area with our screenshot tool.

You can capture a full page or document with ScreenPal’s scrolling screenshot feature. Simply click and drag to select an area to scroll, then scroll either vertically or horizontally with your mouse or arrow keys to capture your full page.

Where is my screenshot?
Once you’ve taken a screenshot, a quick actions notification will appear.

You have three options:
1. Edit Image: You can add annotations, blurs, shapes, and more with the Image Editor.
2. Screenshot Folder: Head directly to your screenshot folder where your screenshot is stored.
3. Upload on ScreenPal: Upload and publish to share your screenshot with your team.

How do I edit my screenshot?

ScreenPal has made it easier for you to edit your screenshots.

Once you take a screenshot, you can choose to save, edit, or share your screenshot. Click on ‘Edit’ to start editing your screenshot.

The Screenshot Image Editor will appear. Simply edit your screenshot by clicking any of the editing tools in the editor.

You can resize your image and crop your image, draw on your image, or use text, arrows, steps, and shapes to provide more visual explanations.

You can upgrade to any ScreenPal subscription to blur an image or use AI image-to-text to copy, edit, and style any text in your screenshot.
Can I add a screenshot to my video?
How do I convert a screenshot to text?
You can easily extract text from any screenshot to copy, edit, or replace in ScreenPal’s image editor. Our AI image-to-text feature uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to convert text in your screenshot to an editable text field.

To convert your screenshot to text:
1. Open your screenshot in the image editor
2. Select “Recognize text”
3. Click and drag over any area in your screenshot
4. Copy, edit, and style your text as needed
